more dye class

it's so hot right now! like over 100 and we are outside most of the day (everyday since Thurs), I'm so exhausted! like totally death-warmed-over-exhausted. but I have some mostly finished peices now.
This is the chidori piece after the resist was removed, so it's pretty much done. I probably won't "DO" anything with it, it was just to learn.

This is a koi piece (carved by John) with the resist still on. It's curing now and I'll remove the paste later.

Today we laquered stencils, it was really hard! I think it will get easier with practice.

tomorrow I will probably cone resist on fabric for indigo dyeing. I will probably wait until tuesday to use my stencils so that they have more time to dry.
