PMX, Sofas and Roses
Nov. 6th, 2009 08:50 pm
My work was cool and let me take a long lunch today to head over to PMX to check out the Angelic Pretty and Takuya Angel boutiques.
I wore something that was a bit loli, but still work-acceptable. I actually really like this sort of outfit lately. I feel cute wearing it, and people don't seem to give me the "are you little bo-peep eye" when I wear it. I love wearing costumes, kimono and lolita,... but for everyday... I'm happy with this sort of thing right now.
Hair things: Angelic Pretty, F21
T-shirt: by me
Macaron Necklace: Puffpastry
Hoodie: Anchor Blue
Skirt: BTSSB

It was cool to see Maki, Asuka and Takuya. I enjoyed seeing Takuya Angel's stuff in person, but what I really want is a haori/skirt or something similar, and they didn't really have that. A lot of the new corset style, but unlikely that it would fit me. Lots of mufflers, masks and accessories.
Angelic Pretty had a LARGE amount of stock. Lots of new prints (the new circus one and milky chan, etc...) and lots of tshirts, cutsews, bags, postcards, posters, tons of socks, tons of rings and necklaces... and I wasnt one of the first people, either. They had good stock!
I caved and bought this cute dress, I couldn't believe how easily it fit me! I really love it. Also got this cute star necklace.
Then, of course, I had to run back to work.

COMPLETELY UNRELATED,.... we got our sofas this week! Our previous sofa was a (grateful) handmedown from Mitch's parents, but it was old and a bit uncomfortable at this point, and we needed something larger for the space. We were able to use coupons from our credit cards to take the price down on the tv and stuff, too. Our previous TV was hundreds of years old, too... We watched some BATTLESTAR on the new tv tonight on our new sofa. It was kinda awesome.

Youta is adjusting well as is his imaginary friend.

AND three of my roses came today! Two are "Wildeve" (english rose, low growing) and the other (the one that has a bloom on it...) is "The Prince" a dark purplish red english shrub.
Look how they are packed! Pretty clever actually! I'm hoping I'll get a minute this weekend to plant them. (They're for the front yard.)
THE ADVENTURE BEGINS.

The roses look REALLY nice! That is a cool way that they packed them! They'll probably be two or three feet high by the Spring if all goes well.

I hope those roses grow fast and strong!

Pretty roses! I know nothing about plants, so here's to people who won't kill them in a week like I do! :D
