timeout (pink fabric, SAS shoes and sunrise/sunset)

My pink fabric came! (I want to make a Robe a l'anglaise with it..)
oh my... it's rather perfect.
I don't think it's too bright at all and I'll be adding hotpink ribbon flowers to it, I think. Unfortunately, I don't know when I'll have time and my Madame de Pompadour has to come first.
but... aaaah... this fabric fills me with glee!


Also hot pink,... still my toenails from my birthday pedicure! Wow! These are my new SAS sandals. You may scoff but they are the MOST COMFORTABLE THINGS EVER and they last forever. My last pair I had for at least 10 years.

While speaking of comfortable, if you want a super super soft soothing nightgown, I highly recommend Land's End. They never let me down. I was so relieved when I got my new one in the mail recently... it's like a cloud!

I have pics like the last two from home -- I've never seen a sky look like that in the US.. I do admit, I also haven't seen dawn for a while either o,0

hhaa... thanks! actually my bday is in august, but this pedicure is very durable! :D

I think the sky varies a lot. we used to get pebbled clouds like this a lot in South Carolina, but I don't often see them here in California.

Ahahaha, I too have SAS sandals. :P They're the only brand for which not only are the normal widths wide enough for me, but the wides are TOO wide! Mwahahahah! Hey, it's the little things in life. :) (And the buckles and things don't give me blisters--I can't figure out why the hardware on so many sandal styles seems designed to wear holes in your skin.) They expanded into Japan recently under their full name (for extra American cachet, I guess!).

Beautiful photos! I love California but it seems that there are so few partially cloudy days that we rarely have amazing sunrises or sunsets. It's a silly thing to complain about, because who would hate blue skies every day? But...yeah.
