So, I actually had a pretty lovely day at AX today.

I was expecting just to pick up my badge and maybe check out the dealers room,... but when I went to get my industry badge what did my eyes spy but a industry ticket list for Moi dix Mois. I was a big fan (still am) of Malice Mizer,... but Moi dix Mois is a little "heavy" for me, so I was on the fence about going to the concert. Cheryll and AJ told me I should go... so I did, and I'm glad I did! (Kinda by accident I got 2nd row section B seat! Which was pretty close, but kinda on the side.) I enjoyed some of the heavier stuff despite myself. (It was very epic!) I like his more romantic harpsicordy-stuff best. They wore these outfits below... I loved the skirt part of Mana's dress. It makes me want to work on that dragon outfit I've been thinking of doing for years. anyway. Very enjoyable.


I saw a lot of friends while I was wandering around which put me in a pretty great mood and the dealers room actually had a lot of cute stuff this year.

I wore my Metamorphose Room Print skirt for the first time today. It was actually released last spring (spring 08) while I was in Japan, and somehow I couldn't get it... so I looked for months for it. It's one of my favorite Metamorphose prints. Here's a better picture of the print. Also, I tried what I was talking about earlier by trying a white underbust corset with it. (BTW, thanks for the advice, I did end up ordering the halter in black from meschantes...!) Blouse and purse are BTSSB. To the right is some AP cuffs I picked up today, too.


The artist alley was filled with lolitas selling adorable rings! Here's some of the stuff I walked away with. XD (the Angelic Pretty bracelet actually is from Tara <3 )

So I don't really know much about Lolita fashion, but does this abbreviation refer to Baby, the Stars Shine Bright? Because I just found out about that store last week when I learned of a branch opening up here in August. I bet you already knew about it. ^_^

This is an absolutely adorable coord... it looks fantastic with the corset! Meta's Room print is gorgeous in any color. ^_^

I'm so jealous you got some of those wristcuffs, they're so pretty! By the time I got to Starry Candy Box there weren't really any accessories left except for some matching Sweet Jam/Tiara Rose headbows. Ah well, another day. Glad to see you get some great use out of the bracelet too! :D

I wish I could have seen you and your sweetie around con in your cosplay outfits... you both looked so awesome! Hope we'll maybe get some piccies at Comic-Con. Are you have a table this year?
