COMFORTER NEEDED: I need a cute blanket for when my girls slumberparty at my place. Mitch accidentally threw a bunch of our blankets in the Goodwill pile, so I need to replace some. I want something kinda cute like this. Or maybe I'll just go by Joann's and get a couple yards of Disney Princess fleece. Too bad all the Doctor Who comforters are of Daleks. What's up with that. I should get an Edward Cullen one just to freak out AJ and Judy.
Suggestions for silliness or cuteness, welcome!

Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2009. To echo everyone, Dear McQueen, these are fabulous, why aren't we seeing shapes like THESE at Target? I totally agree with True Mee. and Dandy, YES, PLEASE! Love these shapes. So tired of the loose bag look. These are HOT.

Richard Chai Pre-Fall 2009. LOVE the jacket shapes. YUM.

Christian Lacroix Spring 2009 Haute Couture. OH MY GOD. The pink dress is just adorable and fanciful, but the taupe pantsuit and the blue jacket? OH MY GOD!! I WANT!

Oh my god this dress from Christian Dior Spring 2009 Haute Couture.... I LOVE IT!! LOVE IT. The inside looks like the inside of a teacup!

I also love this jacket from NUMBER (N)INE

love these from Armani Privé Spring 2009 Haute Couture. Makes me want to break out some of my stash of asian fabrics and make a pencil skirt. Feels a little DiorXBladeRunner but who cares!

Let's check places like Ross, Marshall's and TJ Suxx first. They often have good deals on new linens.

Speaking of Disney, I've got [livejournal.com profile] missmea's old Beauty and the Beast comforter. If she has no objections, we could loan it to you...

The dresses are pretty, but I get so distracted by how emaciated the models are - especially the one modeling that white dress! How does she even have the muscles to stand? YIKES!!! I still find it hard to believe that models like Cindy Crawford in their heydey would be considered big fat cows now!

Man I love those pieces. I read how Dior totally ignored the economical situation as of late LOL

Didn't you want to get those blankets from Downtown? XD The really good deals?

The Christian Dior collection is fabulous this year. So romantic! There is a yellow one I find so beautiful but not for £100,000! LOL!

You know, I wasn't a huge fan of the shapes for the Armani line but holy cow, do I ever love the entire Dior couture line. I have always loved the train type look where it's significantly shorter in front than the back. I don't know what kind of horse hair they used in those skirts but man are they gorgeous. I agree with you on the tea cup thing; all I could think of was Wedgewood. XD TYhe detailing on the dresses are simply insane.

Haven't seen the coat before but I completely want one.

Hi Aimee,

JoAnn's has some really cute fabric, but I must admit they're not as cute as that Hannari Tofu blanket 8D!
