Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2009
= ?

This and This are pretty cool from Lanvin, though

and these interesting jacket lapels and shapes from Emanuel Ungaro are pretty awesome. I think they would be wearable too, and you know, actually by people who aren't stick-insects.

I love this girl's style on pupe (chipfactory). A lot of her stuff is handmade, too. I usually don't choose browns, but her coordination is so romantic and soft!

to be fair, fur armwarmers CAN be really cute if done well... like this cute colorful look from Takuya Angel.... but yeah. (I think these cute monster hand warmers can kinda go with casual stuff too, if done right...)

but don't they look ridiculous as gorilla paws on that "serious bisnes" model?

I like the last couple things, as they're kind of steampunk, but mostly, I find "high fashion" to be really stupid.

Huh, cool! I didn't know people put whole outfits together on poupee girl. I thought it was just single articles of clothing.

I require that the balenciaga skirt, all the lanvin, and the blue ungaro jacket be delivered to my closet. Also all the shoes.

I love chiptap's stuff! And of course her photos of it all are so deliciously romantic.
I hear you about the stick-insects.

do you mean because they are bag shaped dresses? you can always use a similar color and layering style, but instead do it with a defined waist and bodice. ie, pic a sillouette that looks good on you, but be inspired by the rest of what she does.

I was thinking the same thing about the baleciaga gloves. They can also pass maybe as a grizzy bear paws as well. Rawr!
