Mythical Tale (Ice Fashion)

So, I got the 08-09 Autumn/Winter Pret-a-Porter GAPPRESS magazine today.
What popped out at me immediately was this set by Tamae Hirokawa called "Mythical Tale of an Icy Land". The text in english about it talks about using "new technology" but it doesn't say what. The icy looking embellishments look very much like the August maiko kanzashi. ... I wonder if it's the same, either way I'm curious about her technique! I couldn't find ANY information about this designer online. What a pity.
