I'm definitely going to finish the comic one (and there's more to the story)..., but we'll see about the other.
No crits please.
I'm just going to muck around with it as I please,...
but I'm showing you in case you might enjoy it. back to work, back to work!

Oh this looks GREAT!
And if you have time for a dumb question: Is there any reason you prefer to do your pencilling in red?

many people use blue or brown or anything. I just like red for some reason. it's pleasing to me. it feels warm.
but I use "a color" because then I can go over it in black graphite to do the final drawing. a lot of the time I then remove the red channel in photoshop to get my final drawing rather than cleaning it up on another sheet.

Gotcha! Thanks! I've been using blue lately, but the red is very nice so I was curious if there was some cool tech-y reason why red was better or something. :) Do you then ink over your graphite drawing or simply use that as the final?

I don't ink because I don't mind the way the graphite looks. it's a personal preference type thing.

you can use anything you like. :) there's no right thing as long as the final product looks finished enough for you.

Hi Aimee,

I LOVE your Doctor Who fan art! I can't wait to see what the comic is about! I see the Doctor is reading again, as usual ;)! It's a good excuse to draw him with glasses I say 8}!

The T.A.R.D.I.S. space seeing picture is wonderful too! I hope the T.A.R.D.I.S. isn't spinning when they're doing that though ^^;!

oh yeay! Thanks so much! I look forward to seeing them! I wish I could have gone to DC this year. I'm hoping next year though!

Glad you're enjoying season 2! I know DW isn't for everyone, but I always feel bad if I steer someone wrong. :)
