I had a great time. Got to meet John Barrowman, got into the Doctor Who and Torchwood panels (and they ROCKED), got my Tite Kubo autograph, SOLDOUT of the Japan Ai books that I brought, had relaxing times afterhours with friends and saw Castle Greyskull, burgerking StormTrooper and a unicorn. YEAY.

saw tons of people at the con, but as usual, things were a bit crazy, so if I missed you, I'm sorry!

WED

here was our booth this year!

Derek started sculpting his character, which... in the beginning was a bit frightening.

we (HCC) ended up in the EVENTS guide with our Five Star Stories costumes!

After manning the booth till close, we went to this fabulous Indian restaurant nearby. We got superhero themed drinks and awesome korma and curry. It had great atmosphere and we felt really relaxed and ready to start the weekend on the right foot.
The orange drink was "the Joker" and the red one was "Batman".

THURSDAY

I rushed to get Mitch and I dressed in our Doctor Who cosplay. We were the Tenth Doctor and Rose (from Idiot's Lantern).

Eric Goldberg signed me a copy of his new animation book! :D

Got my autograph with John Barrowman (Captain Jack from Doctor Who and Torchwood). He was SO adorable! XD!

After this I rushed over to the BBC booth to get a Moffat signing ticket. Got one, and then rushed over to Ballroom 20 for the Doctor Who panel.
I saw LOTS of people from online and Doctor Who fandoms at the panel and we joked around a bit and took some silly photos near the front of the panel area.

Look, it's Doctor and Rose at the Stargate! XD

At this point I completely forgot about getting my Moffat signing. I only later realized. POOP.

I took my wig off since I was overheating and spent the rest of the day at my booth.
lots of people I hadn't seen in a while came by the booth... including Bender!

it was actually pretty cool cause even though I was stuck at my booth most of the time, a lot of people came by to see me, even people I'd worked with but hadn't seen for like 2 years. So I had a really good time and was so happy to see friends.

FRIDAY

Mitch wore his 300 Spartan outfit and I wore my (ala Satan Pit episode) Rose Tyler outfit this day... until I got too hot and then I took off my wig. :)

at some point during the weekend a cute girl cosplaying Aeris came by and thanked me for Japan Ai, and gave me a fake rose!
Well, so, I put the silk rose on my Doctor action figure and thought nothing of it.

Derek then pointed out that it was "the Doctor and ROSE"
HAR HAR HAR. XD

best costume of the weekend perhaps? :D

SATURDAY

Mitch wore his spartan outfit again in the morning and got interviewed by people... and apparently showed up on channel 5 news! haha XD. I just wore some comfy clothes knowing that Saturday is the "scary day" of comic-con and that I'd have to deal with a lot of crowds and stress.

but first, Crisso and I snuck off to get a pick with the Harold and Kumar unicorn! :D
