Matt's Red Swan from his online comic, Knights of the Shroud

if you're morbidly curious, this was drawn in red pencil, and then gone over on the same sheet with graphite pencil and black copic marker. I just remove most of the red in photoshop.
here's what it actually looks like.

Oh man, I haven't seen Matt Bayne's art in so long, I'm so out of touch with the online artist community! Lovely drawing!

If I may ask, how do you remove the red in Photoshop? I find myself frustrated that I have to trace a sketch to get a cleaner look like your drawing above when it seems easier to go the col-erase way.

I pull out the red channel. :) in this case, I copied the whole image (with red). removed all the red, pasted the red on a second channel and selectively erased.
