Mitch and I had fun walking around in Pasadena today. We got lemon gelato. :)

I made my first official attempt at sashiko! (yes, yes, I know I don't need another hobby/craft.) However, this is easy and fun! :) the thickness of the thread and the look of the white on the indigo is very pleasing. I seriously doubt I will be drafting my own marks anytime soon, but I am willing to stitch up pre-marked fabric and use stencils.

this is going to be a tote-bag when I'm done (to put my sashiko in. haha.)

Very pretty^_^ I'd never even heard of Sashiko before.. do you create the designs yourself or did you get a book with designs and more information? If it's a book any chance you could tell me which one?:D
