was earthbound or secret of mana ever released on PS?

(waah the multiplayer on secret of mana was so much fun!)

I'm trying to do some cleaning,... I don't even think I still have my SNES, but somehow I can't seem to part with these old games. (I don't know if they still work, I guess they probably do)

You mean DS? Earthbound was released with Mother 2 jointly in Japan for GB Advance, I dunno if it's going to make it's way over here. Dunno about Secret of Mana, but I'm sure wikipedia could answer that.

waaah, I guess I should keep them then.

(I was thinking of selling my old chrono trigger SNES cart)

You could totally make a killing with THAT sale. You could probably get about 80 bucks for that on Ebay or so, especially if you have the box and fluff. (I'm keeping all of mine only because I horde all of my old SNES stuff. ;_;)

And +20 cool points to you for playing said games. XD

haha now I feel all fluffy and awesome.

I think I still have the instruction booklet somewhere, but I have no idea where o_O... I dont think I have the box anymore.
the only reason I'm thinking of selling it is that I'd be more likely to play it on PS2 (easier to set up than trying to find all my old SNES stuff)

Yeah, Chrono Trigger goes for a lot!

I'm hoping they'll make Chrono Trigger and Secret Of Mana available to download for the Wii. :) FFII and FFIII are available for Gameboy, I know that much!

:O

It's the new Nintendo system, coming out this month:
http://us.wii.com/
It can play Gamecube games, and they're slowly but surely making the entire Nintendo library available for download. I hear that upon initial release, there will be 60 downloadable games, and that they'll add 5-10 more a month.

I'm pretty stoked because I can get this, eventually get all of my favourite games for it that have been impossible to get for years.

Also, Children Of Mana recently came out for the DS!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

so they're really going to make a lot of old games available for it too?

I wonder how much they will cost to download?

Yeah, it sounds like they're making lots of old games available for it! :D I'm not sure how much downloads will cost... hopefully a lot less than the original games, since you don't get anything physical with it, like booklets or boxes. Plus they're OLD -- they shouldn't be charging a premium price for those.

I'm very excited about the Wii!

Secret of Mana was never released domestically on PS. Not sure about Japan, though.

The cart is even more rare as your Chrono Trigger cart, though, so I'd keep a keen eye on eBay.

There was a sequel to SoM for playstation, called Sword of Mana. Not much like the original SoM, though.

If you really want to play SoM again, along with a bunch of other awesome games, ROMs are awesome.

http://nerologic.com/

They have emulators and ROMs, including Secret of Mana. I still have my SNES and the SoM cartridge, but it's nice to also be able to play it on the PC. They have USB controllers that will work for very cheap at walmart, like $10.
