kimono and kanzashi

so yeah,... getting into kimono more lately. part of this is due to me discovering Immortal Geisha FORUMS. I'd been frustrated before by the lack of information in english on the web about how to dress in kimono or what parts are what, etc... but I'd never checked the actual FORUMS on this site before, and there are lots of FAQS!

and so... I have a few long-range goals, haha...
** a red or pink colored kimono set to go with my kanzashi
** a pretty butterfly, hydrangea or sakura yukata
** Obi and rest of the accessories to go with my pink and grey sakura kimono.
** a kimono-rod to display the uchikake that Mitch bought for me when we were dating.
(I'd love to have the full set to go with the uchikake, but I think that's too lofty a goal)

and...
this is the kanzashi I got when I was in Kyoto... it took me like an hour to finally settle on this one. I actually wish I'd bought more than one. I adore them...
