Japan and Takarazuka
Apr. 15th, 2005 09:36 pmJust a reminder that if you'd like to see costume progress, please add hcc_cosplay to your list. Just for today I'll post this here, though.

I found a reciept from Tenshi No Sato (Japan) in my wallet today and was sad. I hope I can go back eventually. :( it was such a wonderful trip.

I was in an asian grocery recently and nearly CRIED when I found out they carried the same mayo that my host family used. MAYO! ^^;;; Hopefully, we BOTH can go back soon. :3

Date: 2005-04-16 06:00 am (UTC)I know you mentioned on cosplay.com that you were sewing the strands of rhinestones on by hand. Have you tried a beading (SOMETIMES called coring) foot for your machine? Its a foot you use when you are sewing strings of tiny pearls (you know the kind you can get by the yard or in little canisters?). Basically, it guides the strand in perfectly and evenly while you machine does a very close zig-zag stitch.
I've had great success with them. What type of machine do you have? If it takes snap on type feet, I can lend you mine so you can try them out :)
HUAH! go go AIMEE DESU! YOU CAN DOOOO EEEEET. YOU ARE THE QUEEN OF FRANCE!
