picture I was going to do for the Gathering calendar, but I just had a horrible time trying to color with the mouse, got frustrated and gave up. oh well.

my trainer is sick.
I hope I can make some progress today, I'm not feeling very good, I have a kinda nasty upset stomach.

What do you need a trainer for? You have Mitch - he's in shape, so I assume that he knows his way around a gym. You could always come work out with me in Culver City. My gym is full of big scary black and mexican guys with these wicked tattoos, and they're all massive and angry looking. It's like being in prison or something. It'd be fun.

but I dont like it when guys tell me how to work out! I tried getting mitch to help me and I get all cranky with him. ;) its just not a good combination

why not just play with a different media?
hard copy it, since it is already in a line art format, and so pen, pencil, watercolor or a combination like i did with that one lodoss one i did for fun?
Your excellent with pen/marker and with PS is always fun to play with hues and saturation values.

that's a good idea, if I can get myself to kinkos I could make a photocopy and color that instead. (this one is in pencil and I dont want to re-ink it)

or just print it high qual on an inkjet.
sometimes photocopy paper does not work well when you try to work in otehr media, water, pencil/marker
I found the high qual printing paper works good, not the gloss stuff jen was using for her final art prints, but one step back.

Awww.... I like your animal sketches... I did some animals from photos the other day myself (<ahref="http://www.artlair.com/portfolio36.jpg">see?, weird huh? IF (and only if) you wanted I'd be happy to color that pic for you with my tablet... (just tell me what colors you want?) I love coloring and I'm a lot better at it then drawing :)

no offense, and its a good drawing, but does everyone draw an angel in that pose at some point? I drew one about 2 years ago, then my friend did one based on mine, and then yours - and they are all like the exact same pose. Straaaaaange...
