so this is the first plant for my garden! I've started the process of ordering a few English roses,... but they haven't arrived yet. (I'm ordering The Prince (English shrub), Madame Alfred Carriere (Noisette climber), Wildeve (low English shrub) and Felicia (Hybrid Musk).) My idea for evening primroses and salvia got nixed, probably not enough sun, at least not right up next to the house in the front. (if you're curious, this is roughly the sun pattern in the afternoon. The morning is totally shaded by the house)

I've been meaning to get some longer clip-on hair extensions for a while and decided to finally bite the bullet. (look how cute they can look, right? ... I'm not sure who the girl is, she was posted on lolival) I adore the shorter clipons I have. It makes it really easy not to have to worry about your hair, you just pull your natural hair up and clip them on. theosakakoneko recommended bangupwig on ebay, and they have a very competitive price. (You can msg them and ask for a set of two.)

I loved this glittery PARIS sign that Alix posted in her blog. She had visited LA recently... so she'd actually bought the sign somewhere in LA... so I called the shop (“Paris 1900″), and they were willing to mail me one. I'll have to actually visit her store at some point when I have more time. Look at the art nouveau facade!! Mitch, of course, is making fun of me because I've never actually BEEN to Paris... (also in the photo is some of my Nendoroids)

other stuff:
- ya'll sold me. We're going to get a PS3

- See you at PMX this weekend!

It took 5 hours to buy cellular shades at Lowe's. 4 out of the 5 hours were spent with the lady inputting things into the computer while I spun in a circle and tried not to be rude. EPIC.

I did buy some bubble lights though, cause this year I'm going to have a TREE. TREEEEEEEEE. Cause you know, now that Halloween's over, it's NOW MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR. CHRISTMAS/NEWYEARSTIME, BABY.
(would you believe, Mitch has never seen bubble lights before? I think perhaps his childhood might have been slighted... slightly...)

Mitch dug a BIG HOLE for my camellia this morning. This involved violent use of a pick-axe because the ground had so much clay and stones. I sat and sipped soda and "supervised". (truth be told, I think he enjoyed it on some level. lol.)
