It took 5 hours to buy cellular shades at Lowe's. 4 out of the 5 hours were spent with the lady inputting things into the computer while I spun in a circle and tried not to be rude. EPIC.

I did buy some bubble lights though, cause this year I'm going to have a TREE. TREEEEEEEEE. Cause you know, now that Halloween's over, it's NOW MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR. CHRISTMAS/NEWYEARSTIME, BABY.
(would you believe, Mitch has never seen bubble lights before? I think perhaps his childhood might have been slighted... slightly...)

Mitch dug a BIG HOLE for my camellia this morning. This involved violent use of a pick-axe because the ground had so much clay and stones. I sat and sipped soda and "supervised". (truth be told, I think he enjoyed it on some level. lol.)

CHRISTMAS TIME. I'm excited that I can now listen to christmas music on my head phones at work without feeling like a complete dork. Although I did slip a few times and listened to a few in july.

We never had bubble lights but a few of my friends did and I was fascinated by them. THey're so cool. o_o I can relate tho... I just took dave to his first ever circus. I don't know how he managed to go 33 years without going to the circus, but he'd never been!

I've never been to Cirque... but I've always wanted to. We went to Circus Vargas. X3 It was awesome... and just down the street. When I was little we'd go to the scary, animal-rights violating, smells funny circuses that come through small midwestern cow towns. It was awesome(Well not the animal rights violations, but I didn't understand that when I was little). They always had magicians! And cotton candy! and sequins!

they help insulate a lil bit and keep the temp cooler in parts of the house (and keep the light out in certain parts...)

Is... is the bubble light a Southern thing? I'd never seen or heard of them until I saw them on my North Carolinian BFF's Christmas tree. I see them now (maybe because I'm looking for them?), but I never had seen them before! They're pretty awesome.

Oh my goodness I haven't thought of bubble lights in years! I remember being fascinated by them when I was little, and I'd just stare at the colours hypnotized. That's awesome that you get to use them on your impending tree!

We never owned any bubble lights, but my aunt would always have them on her tree...

Holy crap, what takes 4 hours to enter into a computer?! If they have to input a bunch of dimensions or something, couldn't they do that without you being present? I would've asked if I could come back when they were done; in the second hour I'm sure I would have crossed the line into rudeness... XD

I'm so glad you mentioned bubble lights. My husband has been searching for some every Christmas, but we have never had any luck finding any. Now I can surprise him with some!
