There are lots of reasons why I like Doctor Who. This is one of the top. It's not just what the Doctor says it's what they repeatedly show in the series, that ordinary people, even stupid or less than great people can do really amazing things if they rise to the occasion.

Some others that amuse me off the top of my head (I don't have time to rewatch eps or go through quote lists right now...):
