DERELICT!
Thought you guys might enjoy seeing Mitch's in progress outfit for the Zoolander WalkOff this weekend.

Mitch looks super. Bummer that I missed you this weekend, but I just got a gift certificate for Father's Office, so beer times with you guys soon, yes?

(And I haven't used them, but Spoonflower is the one I've heard of. They at least offer a variety of weights and stuff.)

[livejournal.com profile] macbeemer and I used Spoonflower to make Scarlett's pattern (I came up with the design and she got it printed). She'd know more about working with the fabric, but the colors don't come out as exact as you want them, so it takes a lot of fiddling around.

oh yeah, i had this problem. you pretty much have to use LAB color, and they have color templates that you can download if you want to know the exact colors their printer will render faithfully.

with other color profiles(non-LAB), when they can't reproduce one color, they'll end up shifting all colors. with lab(not using their templates), they'll just shift the one color that's affected.

I've used spoonflower too with success. I purchased some quilters quality cotton.
Make sure you prepare you file in CMYK so you minimise unexpected results.
