The rose in the middle back (pale pink) is Mayor of Casterbridge. Someone had asked how big it is... um... well, it's this big. (big!)

Gertrude Jekyll is a rose that did well for me but I got rid of her because she was soooooooooooooooooo leggy.

Probably another rose that does better in CA though.
