I went to Huntington Gardens again with Annie yesterday. :) Here's some photos! WHEE!

Covered in citrus fruit!

One of the mixed iris beds near the Shakespeare Garden. This gives me hope about my own beds... see how they just kinda have bulbs mixed in spots with these other plants...? It's charming! Some of these are the same flowers I have.

Lavender and Irises = WIN!

Foxglove, columbine, irises, etc.

Annie took this pretty photo of some of the columbine!

A gorgeous tree, with sadly no identification tag. (That's Annie scoping out the tree.)

Moving into the rose sections of the garden. Annie was totally patient with me geeking out over rose varieties. :)

William Shakespeare 2000 was arranged around a bench with yellow columbine. I have two of this rose in my backyard.

Leontine Gervais

Ancient Rose, Autumn Damask. ... the rose blooms themselves are lovely, but the habit of the bush is rather gangly, eh? The thorns are epic, too.

Ludlow Castle

Lynn Anderson

Mme. Alfred Carriere

I really liked this rose... also wondering if it's a smaller variety.
Paul Bocuse

Sharifa Asma

Ebb Tide

I have this same plant as a climber in the back corner of my backyard.
Eden

Enfant De France

Portland from Glendora

Wildeve (this is one I have the same of in my front yard.)

Carding Mill (I just bought one of these)

Am really tempted to try this rose as a climber...
Crown Princess Margareta

Alnwick Castle

I really liked this one.
Bolero

HUGE BLOOM!
Captain Harry Stebbings

Heaven on Earth (I really liked this one)

Royal Sunset

Sally Holmes

I kinda feel like I have to own this rose.

Sitting around relaxing and contemplating WeLoveColor's tights.

Chinese Garden

If you want to see more rose photos, I'll be putting the rest (mostly for my own reference) in another later post.

Gorgeous photos, and you look cute as always! I want a rose garden. ;o; I think the Lynn Anderson roses are my favorite. They remind me of watercolors.

As a side comment, I noticed you mentioned welovecolor tights. Would you recommend them? I am looking for some good, fun, but sturdy tights to wear with my roller derby gear. I was browsing their site, but would prefer if they came recommended before I buy, as shipping is $12 to Canada.

Hey you know I didn't mind! I got a free lesson! :D That way it's not me being ignorant and saying, Ooh that's a pretty rose, or this is a pretty rose XD heehee!

Dahaha also, I look like total asian tourist with my big hat XD Thanks for inviting me out for the day! It was so nice and relaxing!

Allow me to be immature for a moment and snicker at the name of some of those flowers.

Love, love, love, love, LOVE the rose photos. Thanks for sharing! ^_^

I know you like pink and white more than black... but I'm a HUGE fan of Black Magic Roses. So deliciously dark. =)
