hey folks! I got a formspring:
http://www.formspring.me/aimeemajor

Really, you can ask me questions on FB, Email, LJ and Twitter as you like, too. I'll usually answer. Don't be afraid! I'm not something worth being intimidated about. Sometimes I get busy and forget to answer, sorry...! I do try to reply though. You can always try to email me or message me again if I don't respond.

I'm still planning on doing some video tutorials. Maybe I'll do some video recordings while I work on my Kaguya-hime drawings.

I've been thinking a lot lately about redesigning my webpage. I want to integrate all the stuff I do more. I'd really love to get some kind of coding that allows me to integrate all the social media type stuff into the front page of my website... and also allows me to update/upload images and artwork to the website without having to hand-code everything. That would be SWEET.

Regarding content, though... is there something that you'd like to see me do more of on my website or blog? (Ie, what kind of content do you enjoy the most from me?) Do you like seeing photos of places I go,... do you like seeing in progress drawings, etc...?) Do you want more Q&A? ... more about animation or cosplay...? Is there something you'd want to see less of... or something I don't do that you'd like to see me do? Mostly, I'm going to do what I think is right for me, but I'm curious what you guys feel.
Remember, that you can post anonymous comments to this blog, too. I see them all. As long as they aren't crazy, I unscreen them. Give me some constructive feedback, please! <3

Thanks for all the help, inspiration and support!

Would Wordpress work for you? I use it for my BJD site and so far I've found it pretty easy to use other than trying to design a custom layout. I know you can install widgets for Twitter and I'm sure there must be others. I like the stats you can access through the Wordpress control panel too.

I dont know anything about Wordpress... would it work for me (given what I do and what I need it to do?) can you set up galleries with it, etc...?

I love your lj and its awesome variety. Don't change a thing! I particularly find your photography inspiring.

But if you want to add something, I'd be interested in seeing more links or items that you discover and find interesting! I love the brief glimpses we get of your collectibles, and I'd be interested to learn more if you're still collecting.

I recently took a trip to San Francisco, and Japantown was on my list of MUST DO because of your experiences there, and I now have some beautiful post cards from New People and a much-used Totoro bento box from the mall. Your blog is priceless!

aw thankyou, I really appreciate the feedback! :D I'm glad that you enjoy it, and I appreciate the suggestion! I'll try to post more items when I find something I like.

I'm more careful now about what I add to the horde,... more that I prefer to have a few beloved collectibles than a ton, so I have to like something a lot to add it, now. Sort of. I'm still kind of a soft touch.

I want to go back to San Fran to play at New People and the ocean and such! I hope I have time, soon!

maybe plug your website into Blogger or something?
It would do all the thumbnails and tags

I like your journal the way it is. :) I've started to look forward to posts about things I wasn't initially interested in; everything I know about Dr. Who comes from your blog. :P

I think the things I like most are the pics of your various cute outfits, pics of Youta, cosplay photos, and drawings. So yeah, pretty much everything. ^_^

I'd love to see a tutorial on those little resin charms you made (and what kind of resin it was, and where to get it!). Also if you have advice on where to buy fabric, that'd be much appreciated. The only fabric store we seem to have left in SoCal is JoAnn. O_o;; My sister and I were reflecting the other day that both fabric stores where Mom used to get fabric for our Halloween costumes have gone out of business. :(

Thanks a bunch! I really appreciate you leaving me a detailed response like this, it's very helpful! :) I worry sometimes about overloading people with so many different things, you know like... if they are only here for my art, but I post about cats too often or something. haha.

I'll touch on some of those subjects you asked about soon, if you like.

The thing I love most are your blogs on life and learning and such, and I adore all your funny silly comics.

Your website is how I found you and I do go check back from time to time to see if there are any updates. Really everything you have on your journal is so fun and inspiring. It would be really cool to have everything you put here easily accessible in one place. Blogs are great, but I think if you had everything on a website where people who choose not to have a blog account or LJ, etc, could see your work and the interesting things you do, you may attract more people. I know I've found some blogs that are interesting, but I don't really want to join another site when I already use LJ.

I love your art (of course) but also your garden pics, cosplay definitely, places you visit. And it WOULD be really awesome to see some videos of your drawing process, like from rough draft to finished product.

Love Your Posts

I've been following what you post for years. Very interesting and a wide variety of topics. Life chnages and I like to read about your home, garden, costumes, etc. In the beginning you had a lot about dolls and now about a lot of different stuff. Thank you for taking the time to write and take pictures.

Oh man, it would be really hard for me to pick one thing over another on your blog. Your cosplay is inspiring, I feel like I learn so much about animation from you talking about it, what I know about Dr. Who I've learned from your blog, all of your kimono stuff is SO inspiring and getting to see pics of your day to day life make me feel closer!

So I guess I could just say I love it all? XD I know that isn't helpful, but you live such a fascinating life I wouldn't want to miss an thing.

I love all your posts! Even if I don't comment as often, I always read em. They tend to be such day brighteners ;;
Your art, your garden progress, the cosplay, Youta, just everything brings a great smile to my face. Keep up all the awesome and lovely things! ♥

get yourself a joomla cms, or a wordpress. joomla is better if you want to organise articles. wordpress is better if you want a blog style. both have all sorts of add-ons to help incorporate whatever you could imagine.
and you're always interseting aimee!! :D

I like it the way it is. But I also like seeing drawings and sketches, and links to quirky websites/funny pictures. Just hearing rambling about stuff in your life is cool, too. Maybe more cute drawings?

Heh...I guess I might be a little later, but I was going through and looking at all the archives. Great blog!
