base puff-capsleeve shirts?

CAPSLEEVES WANTED:
I really love tshirts with puffed capsleeves,... but they can be a bit hard to find. I'd like to do my own designs on them, too, so it would be nice to find a good source.
American Apparel doesn't carry this style, do you know any place that carries blank tshirts with puffed cap sleeves? (an example is this kids shirt from disney or this cute Candy Violet shirt.)

I have no desire to start a tshirt business,... I don't like keeping the stock. But if I make a design for myself and you guys want to do a preorder of them, that would be fine with me. I pretty much just really want a certain style of shirt and no body makes it. So I want to make it. :\ the cute sleeve really makes a normal tshirt a lot cuter and less slumpy. (xposted to egl)

HEIRLOOM SEWING FOR LADIES
Totally unrelated to capsleeves... I really really want to make myself an offwhite skirt with lots of insertion lace and pintucks. The feeling would kindof be like this Angelic Pretty line or this BABY petti... but really... it would be me playing around with the heirloom sewing techniques I learned a year or so ago. No one will appreciate that kind of thing as much as me, so I might as well just make it for myself. (ie as opposed to a gift for someone's child.) Here's the pink dress and the white dress I previously made for people's kids. Though I'm sure I'll make another one for a baby at some point. <3

Lastly... forget the bags... check out the great skirts and dresses here! Great feminine shape, (fitted top, natural waist, foofy skirt)... lovely little floral top... very 50's housewife, which I love. Louis Vuitton, you can come play at my house! More here (you have to join to see).

I do! But tiny dogs solve a lot of girly-craft problems for me. I COULD smock an entire bodice for myself... or I could do it for a 3 pound doggieh.

It's funny, though; this morning I was actually lying in bed thinking about putting tucks and insertion lace into bloomers, and if I could alter some I already had. It's a good day to daydream about frilly heirloom stuff!

Candy Violet shirt is American Apparel, so it must be an older discontinued line. It's funny, I looked myself a while back because I wanted more frilly black tees.

Like the poster below, I was going to suggest Old Navy -- but warn that their stock changes so much, you might just want to grab a bunch during the after-summer clearance. The link below looks like the one I got last year, though, which is AWESOME and is totally my staple shirt underneath jumpers. I may need to buy five more, myself. (And some of those tiered skirts they have... oh, Old Navy, I love you so.)

i made a new doll skirt last night and it ended up looking so Jem and the Holograms. it has a ton of gathers in hot pink netting. i should probably be stopped. XD;;

Oh, that middle picture with the black jacket and plaid dress: DO WANT. I love that combination of tailored and feminine, the lines are so good. It reminds me of my dress coat, actually.

And, mostly off-topic, I am getting the urge to start sewing again (I do this every spring, it feels like.) I have too much to do right now, but maybe I'll have time in April and May to do a costume for Wizard World. I'd love to see what your heirloom sewing project becomes, too.

They may not have any now, but Alternative Apparel (http://www.alternativeapparel.com/Consumer.aspx) has a nice selection of changing tees. They're just entering the spring-summer shirts, so I can't say if they'll have any changes soon.

Wholesale prices, of course, are much more affordable if you buy in bulk.

I wish I *could* wear cap sleeves. I have crazy boxy shoulders to begin with so they never seem to fit right. XD;

Zara usually has one or two every spring/summer for about 12 euros (15 bucks I think), I know because every year I get one... but no one ever knows and stores do not get the same clothes worldwide (I'm in Spain).... Good luck with your search ;)

By the way, I thought you'd like some of this shops's designs, even though I don't know if the'd fit tall people like yourself!! ^^

Cap sleeves are the best thing ever! But definitely hard to find, which is a shame as they're so flattering!

Wow... those LV dresses are just... wow. Autumn is here with a vengence, so I've been thinking a lot about my winter wardrobe. At the moment I have 1 dress... Shameful! Last year I used to wear jeans a lot which I am determined not to do this year. This style is exactly what I envision for my winter wardrobe. You tend to only see wool or wool/blend skirts in a pencil or A-line style so it's nice to see a heavier full skirt. These are totally going in my inspiration folder! :D Thanks so much for sharing them!
