petals and rain

These are apples right? They're in full bloom ALL OVER.

Waiting for my Futurama episode screening on the FOX lot. PETAL GLITTER SHOES.

Today, getting good use out of my parasol umbrella.
All this rain is making me hopeful that this spring will be particularly spectacular.

I feel like I should apologize for posting so much lately... but you guys don't mind more photos of petals, right? I'm going to go hop in a hot bath now and warm up my toes. 50 degrees F is cold for us! I will revel in the fakewinter and wear my seldom worn scarves. (sorry, snowpocalypsees!)

Coming from St. Louis, where it can get down to -10 in the winter, I scoffed at SoCal cold. However, in being here it's not that it's cold as much as there's no where to go and get warm! My house doesn't have a heater. :S

HOW CAN YOU LIVEEEEEE <3

i had a down coat that came to my ankles, snow boots(that look a bit like Tidus's shoes from FF10), and a four foot long striped scarf. But i was WARM DAMN IT.

we spent two winters in an apartment in a basement with windows I had to tape plastic over because when closed they had a two inch gap and the door didn't have any real weather stripping around it. Plus our neighbor refused to turn up the heat we both shared. I slept in all my clothes, with all the blankets and a hat on. It never got above 40 degrees in the apartment the whole winter. Now whenever i get really cold I start worrying and feeling like i'll never get warm again. e_____e;;

OMG, you are killing me with spring flowers! I'm in the midst of the snowpocalypse on the east coast! ;-)

No, please keep posting pics!

hur hur snowpocalypse XD

sorry man.

That's what they're calling it around here! Also, snOMG, snowbliteration, snowmageddon, and the Colbert styled "Snowpocalypse '010: The Resnowification of America's Winterscape."

Those are pear blossoms. I have a tree just like that in my yard and it's in full bloom, with petals covering the ground like snow as the storm winds blow through.
Apples would have bloomed earlier, I think. Cherries and plums are still to bloom later.

Aw, I loved picketing at the Fox lot. Hope your episode went well! :)

I know, we have pear blossoms ALL OVER the place and I just want to go take photos in them!

I got like two last year but they made me happy.

OH!!!! I recognize my work building in this photo!!

I'm there when I am unassigned (not at clients). ^^;; Nearby at one of the other buildings is a basement level food court with some mom and pop eateries. I've meant to post for awhile, but they have HUGE macarons for sale... enormous ones the size of my hand!

I always love seeing your photos! Those shoes are fabulous BTW.. Also I thought you'd be interested in knowing that I've finally convinced my BF to paint the patio door to his office(at the pub he owns) as a Tardis! Glee!!!!!

All I do is write on LJ nowadays so I look forward to seeing your posts!

My parents have a couple of plum blossoms or something like it that I love watching bloom in the spring too! But they grow on the side of the house, very high above so it's difficult to take photos of.

PS I have another house-warming gift but really it's for you as I doubt Mitch would use something this pink LOL

XD I live in Flagstaff, AZ, which just made national news a few weeks ago for our 4 feet of snow. (It destroyed our Joann's fabrics - our only fabric store! My costume designing roommate is still mourning). Anyway, my friends and I were using the twitter hashtag #snowpocalypse during that whole time... I had no idea other people said that too!

Where on earth did you get glitter shoes? And curse my wide feet that prevents me from wearing such awesome shoes like that.

I was skimming down my friends list and spotted the purple shoes, and I just KNEW it was you. ^_^

Is your lace umbrella waterproof? I've been searching for something like that for awhile.
