Huntington's Plums and Chinese Magnolia bloom around NOW (eep! must find time to go!)
SCHABARUM's plums bloom after,... closer to the end of the month.
Huntington's sakura blooms around March 2nd-7th or so....
and Van Nuy's sakura blooms around approx March 12th-ish.
Wisteria usually being after the sakura dies down.

what this means is I probably need to go to Huntington this weekend... and I need to start obsessing about what I'll wear for sakura season this year.

But... it was just Christmas! How can it be spring already? Dammit, California, I know you don't have winter, but try to make someeffort at separating the seasons, huh?

I should probably get out and try to see some actual blossoms somewhere, though, in case Van Nuys doesn't deliver again. Also, an appropriate costume. No idea what that will be.

I always have a hard time picking a costume. I was thinking since I'll be shortly done with pompadour that maybe that would be pretty? considering she died young and all?
and maybe something XXXHOLIC for good measure.

I think Annie and Michelle and I are going to go to Huntington this weekend if you want to go.

Char says that Sakuracon usually has good blossoms... and then of course there is DC. Trouble is it's hard to predict.
