Day 18 December Advent



Again, this is based on the lovely orange-crushed's story, "Comedians". I'm hoping to get started on another of the sequences from it before the end of the year, and hopefully another in January.
previous WIP drawings here. As you can see, I changed a few things for continuity. I'm enjoying doing this, and I think I'll learn a lot in the process. I wish I was already done with the second segment... I actually thumbnailed it as I was waiting for the movers (2 months ago! oy!) but... I want to rethink it a bit.

The expressions are so lovely- the warm way they wrap around each other, the sweetness and intimacy of the scene, even when they're out in the middle of a vasty nothingness. It's exactly as I imagined it. You are so incredibly talented, there aren't even words for it.

I was eating dinner downtown tonight and the guy sitting next to me was reading two Dr. Who magazines and I totally thought of you and I was going to say something, but then I remembered I know nothing of Dr. Who except the small bits from when Ian McKellan dressed up as the fourth doctor on SNL.

This truly is love. I was surprised, too, to find out that you wrote about the tall girl in Japan... a friend of mine has that, and I nicked it and read bits! I may just have to go and buy it now. :D

The expressions on your characters' faces are great. I especially love the look of hilarity towards the end, and the horrified shock followed immediately by the devilish expression in 'care to recant?'
