I've been combing my perpetual quote list because I want to get a vinyl cling for somewhere in my house. Here's my current favorites, maybe they'll speak to you, too.

-------
"I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."
- Sarah Williams

"Celebrate your success and find humor in your failures. Don’t take yourself so seriously. Loosen up and everyone around you will loosen up. Have fun and always show enthusiasm. When all else fails, put on a costume and sing a silly song."
-Sam Walton

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”
-Oscar Wilde

"If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever."
- Winnie the Pooh

"In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me lay an invincible summer."
- Albert Camus.

"You'll meet a lot of jerks in life. If they hurt you, remember it's because they're stupid. Don't react to their cruelty. There's nothing worse than bitterness and revenge."
-Marji's Grandma in Persepolis.

"People like you and I, though mortal of course like everyone else, do not grow old no matter how long we live...[We] never cease to stand like curious children before the great mystery into which we were born."
- Albert Einstein

"When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly."
- Edward Teller

"Do it big, do it right, do it with style."
- Fred Astaire

The Albert Camus quote is one of my faves, too. I find it so inspirational and hopeful.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO - what a ride!" - unknown

everyone can laugh at me, but I hear a line from Ranma 1/2 dub in my head at certain moments
"You were so excited about this! Don't give up on it now"

doesn't matter what the source is, only that it's a good quote. And that one is.

I'm gonna remember it when life gets me down. Thanks for sharing!

I really like the Sam Walton quote...but that would make one heck of a wall cling, wouldn't it? It would look cool tho, I think.

Also, you could never go wrong with Fred Astaire "style" ^_^

They are all great, but I really like the Albert Camus one for a wall cling. It's poetic and is evocative of such nice imagery. Plus it's short, so it's easier to read and you can get artistic with the lettering & flow.

Two of my favorite quotes are:

"Great Spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds" -Albert Einstein

"Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."

Speaking of wall clings, I love this decal: http://dalidecals.com/Giant-Tree-Falling-Leaves-Wall-Decals-Vinyl-Stickers.html
And I thought this treatment was gorgeous (though the placement is odd the way it just stops on the left)

I just put up one that says "You must be the change you want to see in the world" from Gandhi. It's made me think a lot about what change I want to see and how I can bring it about in my own life.

Of your choices I like the Wilde and Astaire quotes best :D

I love the Fred Astaire one. (adds to own quote library).

This one is a little longer than the others, but I find is great for inspiration:

"live with intention.
walk to the edge.
listen hard.
practice wellness.
play with abandon.
laugh.
choose with no regret.
continue to learn.
appreciate your friends.
do what you love.
live as if this is all there is."

I love the Camus quote personally, but it seems like the Astaire one would be able to live on a wall more comfortably (stoicness/tenacity versus style/boldness?)
