basically,... japanese biker gangs. Sometimes called 'yanki', too... it's kind of a bizarre subculture thing... because the jackets and some of the accessories are WWII fighter pilot inspired (very PRO-"WHEN JAPAN WAS MIGHTY")... and it's also kind of a punk thing in a way. Rebelling against the society status quo which requires normal hair and going to school and getting a job.
but most of the time (as far as I"ve heard...) they're kinda tame. Like, they don't really rob people or deface property. They just ride around trying to look scary and tricking out their bikes.

and then there's this whole part of it that's kinda inspired by 1950's and on american rock?? (hence the elvis on steroids hair??)
some variations on it have pimp leather pointed toe shoes, jeans and very 50's team jackets with embroidery and stuff.

other variations are... they're usually under 20, so they're going to school... so "the man" requires that they wear uniforms. Well, they do, but they wear ultra long skirts (ending up looking like hakama) or the modify their uniforms to make them look scary, etc. ha.
