apparently 2 gross is the right amount to be magical.
I might be finished by Monday. We'll see.

I want it to look like it has magic on it! So I'd like to concentrate some rhinestones at the hem of the dress... I think I'll get smaller ones than the ones you see here for some variation. :D

I've used 1 gross already... so I think I'll get 1 more gross of smaller ones.

You know, I did... but it looked like crap compared to your coloring, so I got discouraged. I entered the contest, but it's in a totally different direction than we'd been heading with it!

Sewing makes me boggle. I'll leave ti to the pros and just enjoy watching your LJ. ;)

I should take photos of the display dresses in the numerous dress shops in town here. Some of them are similarly over-the-top. I can't even imagine who they are trying to appeal to. :D

Oh my god, so sue me, that dress is awesome. I would totally roll with it, having matching glowsticks, smear myself with some rad glow-in-the-dark stuff, put glow sprays in my hair and GO FOR IT.

That aside, I can't wait to see your Sleeping Beauty! It looks so completely magical! I love rhinestones sprinkled on skirts. There are some on the skirt I wore today, and it twinkled and flashed in the sunlight so prettily. I can't imagine how awesome your gown is gonna look with TWO GROSS of rhinestones!!

I seriuosly wanted to but one of those big quincenera gowns but it was like $300 T_____T Ali and I were like Ooooooooh! XD One day maybe? Why must I like big poofy gowns so much!

from a photograph's perspective, I love the pic of the green dress with the street reflection in it. Works great!!

as for the dress itself...um...wow....that's really.bright.green.!! and I like green...just not that neon.
