NO DOCTOR WHO SPOILERS!
I am trying VERY hard not to see spoilers for the last few Doctor Who episodes this year. Please don't send me spoilers or spoil anything for me!
thanks folks! (I hope we can afford a flatscreen by then!)

------------

I just finally watched the movie, City of Ember. What a lovely, interesting movie! I really enjoyed it. Good for all ages pretty much, too.

Here's a couple pieces I did for Vampire Hunter D today. I'm trying to use up my RTV before we move. The more complex piece is for the top of my hand, the other is a small decorative belt piece. Both based on this image and are (obviously) cast from shells. I picked them up on Folly beach a few days ago. I'm looking forward to using a lot of left-over beads from Der Tod and other never-done projects for this costume!

Tomorrow I'm going to try to work on my wrist guards and shoulder pads.

I just watched City of Ember for the first time last weekend! I too thought it was a very nice all-ages film. Definitely the kind of movie I would have enjoyed a lot growing up. It had a nice feel to it, and quirky fun characters.

I saw City Of Ember... I was heavily reminded of "Spartakus and the Sun Beneath The Sea", aka "Les Monde Engloutis".

Hee hee.. yeah, it's the kind of music that sticks with you, even after not hearing it all this time.

Personally, I think the French version is better, but that's just me.

it definitely has that charmingly primitive retro vibe, I wish I'd seen Rose of Versailles as a kid, I would have loved it.

Wow. You're brave. I just gave up and started watching the DW speicials on Youtube, as I knew from last year's DW eps that it impossible to avoid spoilers. AND since SciFi hasn't even announced when they are going to air the DW specials that have aired so far, I didn't feel the least bit guilty about it.

BBCA will be airing Torchwood's season 3 in July, very close to the airdate in the UK, so its not impossible.
