VHD hat bit and Iced Tea

aimeekittyI woke up at 6:30 am this morning worried that I'd messed up the RTV mold. lol. (cause I ran out of the blue stuff, so I wasn't sure if I used enough...) Turned out fine though.
This piece took forever to sculpt and paint. *___* It's still not perfect, but perhaps the imperfections add to the organic quality? I hope? You can't really tell but the white areas are pearlized a bit. OO SHINEY. It's a "charm" so to speak for VHD's hat. Based on this image
WOLVERINE RULED. I totally fangirled out. I LOVE YOU, LOGANNNNNNN
(v. appalled, however, by braindamaged mother who took her 4 year old girl to the movie.)

It's a million degrees this week, so I've been making iced tea.
I'm debating whether I should visit Bigelow Tea Plantation when I go home to visit my family next week (!) Apparently it's the only USA tea plantation? But... that doesn't nessesarily mean that I'll find it interesting, eh?
My main plan while back in Charleston, SC is to eat lots of fried chicken and fried shrimp, look at lots of old buildings and the ocean and do lots of sleeping.
(check my Alice and Wonderland fabric. It's going to be a skirt!)
