amazing work. i'm an eternal fan of Vampire Hunter D, so i'm hopeful to see the rest of this costume come together! (my own doris lang cosplay will be out in a few months, if not i'll wait for next year). good luck on all those scarfy bits!
How expensive or difficult is it to do custom resin casts? Do you have a particular reference site to show how it's done? As an avid tabletop gamer I've always wondered because it could open up a great world of custom models, pieces of terrain, etc. It certainly shows with your excellent example there. Looks wonderful!
doing resin casts is actually really easy. It just LOOKS scary. I highly recommend trying it.
Doing really small sculpts for something like tabletop, though, I would imagine, be very difficult. But that's not because of the resin process, it's because you'd have to sculpt really small.
