I hadn't looked on YJA for doll stuff in a very very very long time. So for a lark this morning while waiting for someone, I went through about 50 pages of it. In all that, I didn't see anything awesome. What's going on? I'm not very active in ABJD right now and haven't been for a while. Have the really awesome YJA dress makers and customizers stopped? Or is it that I just didn't happen to see them on YJA this time?

Today, I enjoyed looking at Runa and SDINK's face-ups.

Maybe post some pretty links of awesome stuff here, so I can see? I'm so out of it with everything, and I want to look at some pretties. :)

I really hope that VOLKS does release the Graffiti body in sunlight and snow skin,... but, I want to see more headswap pics first.

I'm having to pack up most of my dolls right now because we'll be moving and probably renting for a bit. I hate packing them up. *____* I think I'll only be able to keep maybe two of them out? So that would be Usagi and Hotaru.

me, personally,... I'd still like to sell one more, but I can't see myself buying another doll (or even more doll stuff) anytime soon. I'm just really happy with what I already have and am trying to cut back in general.

I love this embroidered cake dress at BTSSB.... Maybe once I get caught up with my to-do list I can sit down and embroider some cupcakes. That would be WONDERFUL.

I have a question for you concerning dolls. So I have a custom house unique punk punk jupiter that I'm looking to sell. It had a broken pinkie and doesn't come with the original shoes. The outfit is intact save for the hat, which my dog proceeded to chew up D:. How much you figure I could sell it for? I'm just trying to see the ballpark number.

I wish I could help, but I really have no idea. I haven't been really up on that sort of thing for a while and prices are volitile right now with such a huge # of types of dolls available and the "bad economy".

YJA has been really empty of decent stuff lately. It's really sad. I guess the really good creators sell off their private sites or something now. I very rarely see anything good on YJA...I miss the 'old days'. :(

I definitely think the economy plus a glut of dolls/doll companies has been very bad for the hobby lately. I think Ospirit closed up shop... I'm heartbroken about THAT... but when she can't command the high prices she used to, I assume she's finding another, more lucrative venue for her talent.

It's time to find joy in the dolls I have, in the stuff I already have, instead of being about the Newest Acquisition, be it a doll or an outfit. I DO love my dolls, so have to find new ways to enjoy them.

Le Sigh.

Ospirit's still around! I get updates from eBay whenever she updates, and I believe I got one over the weekend.

I'm in the same dolly boat! Haven't paid attention to anything but what I already have for awhile, and certainly haven't bought any bjd's for 2 years.

The only thing I want is another white body for all my extra heads to share >.<
