- I love my husband. HE'S ADORABLE AND GEEKY SMART and tells inappropriate jokes. I'm going to make him a pretty pretty gun.

- I'm WELL!! A weight has been lifted! I can sing at the top of my lungs in my car without coughing! This is a very good thing. OH YES!

- At work this week I had to animate some dancing stuff so I had an excuse to study some Fred Astaire routines. Aww, Fred.... love and respect forever. Animating things like dancing is one of my favorite things to do. Sometimes my job is really hard, but it's pretty friggin awesome that occasionally I get paid to draw cartoons prancing around like Fred. Also, youtube is pretty fabulous. *oldwomanvoice* We didn't have things like this back when I was animating in school. NO NO. back then I horded reference on VHS. Now we have broadband connections streaming videos and we draw ON the computer screen!

- I made my first cement mold yesterday! It's for my Vampire Hunter D Left Hand. I should be able to try to do some latex soon! EPIC! I made iron-ons for Anotsu. BOTI for the win.

- I get to do more photoshoots this weekend and picnic with friends! AND Mitch and I are going to the opera (Das Rheingold)! It'll be our first Wagner.

- I finally was able to get a wonder party skirt in black AND my my BTSSB Mother Goose Starry Sky skirt came in (see image to the left), and OH MY GOD it's so adorable. It has pink accents! It's such a perfect mix of sweet and elegant! I think I made the right choice by selling some of my other stuff. I'll sell a bit more when I get time.

- JOHN GALLIANO FALL 2009 RTW(the first like 6 are just GORGEOUS!) and the details!

I'm glad someone else has a good geeky spouse like me! Last night he me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

Yay for being well!

Gotta love Fred. His skills amaze me.

My first opera was Wagner's Ring trilogy. Still one of my faves.

I'm so not showing that skirt to my daughter! She'll beg unmercifully for one! I need to find a pattern and send it with some fabric to my mother in law to surprise my daughter.

Is it sad that every time I see Nerf guns I think how cool you could make them and secretly want one of my own? *hides under blankie*

How dare you be able to sing at the top of your lungs in the car without coughing, while I'm still a bit too sick to be able to do so.

I really loved john Galliano's show. I really love his main more than I like the stuff he does for Dior these days because you can tell his creavity is being constricted.Oh, And those wood platforms in that show were amazing!

That's a awesome gift for your husband. I have a friend that mods those for a living.

VAMPIRE D HAND. i couldn't finish reading because i was too excited by that picture!

okay i lied..i did finish reading.
Galliano was kind of a hit & miss for me. Some of the pieces were mind-blowingly gorgeous. then some were meh for me. the details however did it. the chains and the shoes and the styling - i loved that.

haha XD

yeah, I agree, some of them were mindblowingly awesome and some were BLEH. but the makeup,... and the styling and the indian jewelry and the clock-like waist belts. OH MY GOD. I love the confetti falling down too, gave me visions of ethnic garments in SPACE or something.
