Well someone ought to do it... I don't have anything shiny, and I haven't asked wife library_lynn what she'd think of a party in our room. But if someone wanted to host a "Shiny" party, I could probably come up with some supplies to make sure we didn't starve.
Not Friday night, though, that's when kproche and bovil's "Volcano Time" toga party is. (Which reminds me, I should pack my volcano mug.)
"After Masquerade" is a traditional opening time for parties. The trick is to find someone on the second floor willing to have it in their room...
What I've done in the past is prep the room in the afternoon so that all I have to do is open the door. Then close the doors and go to dinner & Masquerade.
