This Chiana from Farscape is for febbik on DA, she got the 40,000 page view and so got to request a sketch. I'll do another on 60,000. I like Chiana's design, but I haven't watched Farscape. Done with pencil, sharpie and whiteout.

I work on cintiq at work (for storyboards). The screen you see here is my secondary screen that I use for iPhoto and reference stuff while I'm drawing on the cintiq screen.

"Helping" are some rements, pink Gloomy Bear (his name is BOB), Hildegarde the sheep (Judy got her for me from New Zealand), one of Chris Sander's sexy creations, Totoro, chibi Marie Antionette, Chi (in litter box) and the good Doctor.

The photo on the screen (shown) is by my friend Jason (i360.com). (It's not snowy trees, it's a camera effect, which is very magical!)

If you like Doctor Who, you might enjoy Farscape. It's kinda like the really kinky version of Star Trek where we get to see Kirk sleep with all the aliens, get trashed out of his mind, and wake up in alien underwear in a store window with a Klingon. I enjoy it a great deal.

It's kind of funny, the Henson company did Farscape but it's nowhere near a totally family show. It has animatronic puppets, hot people in black leather, diabolical bad guys, unrequited love, and a definite kink to it. Four seasons and a mini series and you also get introduced to some great Aussie actors - I can't recommend it enough! At least give it a chance, it starts slow.

Wow, at first I thought you used a pattern for the Farscape pic. Little did I know you just used white out *LOL*. That's an interesting monitor, mainly because of the bottom part is thicker than the top. I'm not around a bunch of macs so I'm always drooling at pictures of them ha ha

omg, you have to watch Farscape!! At least first 2 seasons (after that, each episode requires heavy doses of Prozak with each viewing)
