Good things:
-- I wore a beret today and it was fun!
-- my "flight control" TARDIS came in the mail and it is AWESOME.
-- did I mention how awesome the TARDIS is?
-- bought the remnants of a bolt of red/black/khaki plaid, (on sale) just enough to make a skirt!
-- some other pretties from etsy
-- went through a storyboard sequence I did on Friday and plused the drawings. Feels good to be able to take a fresh look at it and make it better.

BAD THINGS:
-- trying very hard not to get sick
-- computer crashed when it came out of sleep at work and corrupted my new storyboard sequence. Translation: lost 4 hours of work/drawings

Okay, I just have to let you know that my daughter sees you as her new fashion icon. And I haven't sewed since I was in 4-H twenty years ago. *facepalm*

Looks like I'm going to have to beg my Mother in law and be a JoAnn Fabrics addict. At least my kid has good taste...

I've never been good at fashion, but the past couple years I am trying to put more thought into it. I mean, I'm an artist... shouldnt I show some creativity with my outfits, too? plus my work has no objections to it, so there really is no excuse.

She's almost eleven. She amazes me with the ensembles she puts together! My standard uniform is black Chucks, jeans and a shirt. She's much more artistic like her Dad.

She loves your anime/manga inspired clothes and is begging her Grandma to make her some cute skirts. :) I'm for being whatever you want to be so I'll be investing in some fabric and patterns it seems!

They are CLAMP Chobits prints. I like them mainly because the colors are soothing to me, which is important when you have to wake up way too early and get ready for work. I like that they are marker-colored, too, which is my preferred method of coloring. :) plus CHI is cute.
