Fashion Post! :)
Do you have any suggestions on ways I could put some outfits together based on what I like and what I currently have?
You can see a lot of my stuff in my PUPE account. I'm gradually updating it to have my closet.
I liked these outfits (below) at Anthropologie, but didn't want to put down the cash for their non-sale prices.
I kinda like the blue cardigan.
the basic black dress is really cute, too. Love the cuffed boots it's paired with.
I really really like that black cardigan with the leaves paired with the plum dress.

and these are some interesting ideas (below) from Free People.
The grey hoodie, I have a really basic one coming from oldnavy that I'm going to add some fun trims and such to.
I would like to get some khaki cargo pants that are long and cute on me though... but I've yet to find a good pair that fits well.
I definitely need a super-long skirt. I don't like the plaid they showed here, but that sort of idea would go perfectly. I might have to make it though as I don't see that sort of superlong skirt that often.
Also like the idea of super thin long shirts under some of my summer blouses. The blue and green layered together is really pretty.

Unsure on whether I like this whole vest/waistcoat trend lately. I LOVE vests, but I'm not sure if I like them in casual wear. That being said, isn't this one from Topshop gorgeous?

this coat is the one I decided to get for winter. It's from topshop.

picked up some red slippers.
I hope they'll be comfy, they're advertised as such. I really like the look of red slippers mixed with just about anything (especially jeans)

I decided to pick up some on-sale blouses at Anthropologie. We'll see if they suit/fit me when they arrive.

These are some of my previous (already own) favorite blouses

cute braiding tutorial!

I am going to go make a version of that first skirt here today
take this idea and just make the sections wider longer and kind of off set

Date: 2008-09-13 08:27 am (UTC)So I wanted to thank you for all the resources and things you post here and in your cosplay journal. Not only did it make getting the pieces together a breeze, but I did it without spending too much money as well!

Date: 2008-09-14 04:06 pm (UTC)If I really love something enough and I know I'll get a lot of wear out of it (and I can't find some alternative) then sometimes I buy it retail at anthro. I've tried a lot of other stores for similar blouses, etc... but they never fit me as well or have the nice accents that I love.
