I'll probably post a more photos later, but here's a cute shot of my sensei Mme. Fumi Akutagawa and I at the LA Kimono Club Sakura meetup. (Isn't she cute? I love her.)
I'm wearing my pink royal cart furisode with gold obi and my blue hydrangea kanzashi. (which are out of season, but I liked the blue with this outfit) I was pretty proud of myself, I'm getting much faster at putting on kimono and doing fukura suzume on my own.
The photos are from mambastic, who has been taking some lovely photos of LA kimono events over the last few months.

Also, my sensei has been giving my book, Japan Ai, to libraries and schools that she teaches at. Here is a newspaper clipping of my sensei. (click for larger full article)
