Haute Doll April Issue

Haute Doll Magazine's next issue (April 2008) will be coming out soon. normally I just post about this in my doll journal, but this issue has some very special items in that are not just about doll things, it's about fashion and art and photography, too.

--- one is the interview that Becky and I did with Baby, The Stars Shine Bright, the lolita fashion designer. They've made clothes for dolls and people. In addition to this one there is some info on how the lolita fashion evolved and I did some drawings for that. Thank you again to everyone who helped out on these.
speaking of Baby, The Stars Shine Bright, did you fashion fans notice that they have several items in a larger size now? and it's longer, too. Pink scallop JSK, basic JSK and blouse
-- and then there is Arcadia Dolls. They are the one who made my doll's Marie Antionette-style gown as well as the pirate outfit, etc... I think even if dolls are not your thing, you will appreciate their beautiful work. They are interviewed for this issue, too.
-- Spotlight On Corinne Skinner - Milk-eye's gorgeous doll photography! ( here's a few photo links for you: 300, the highwayman... etc.!)
-- I did a 1 page illustration about cute animal dolls taking over. :)
-- Larger Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls - This is an article by me that focuses on the really large doll trend lately with photography by Marti Hunt, Elizabeth Vegvary, Kara Struble, Sabriell and Orpheelin.
---..... there's probably more, too, but I can't remember right now.
while we are talking about cute things, a lot of my cake and sweets jewelry has come from this ebay seller, shopsweetandco. Enjoy! if you see more stuff like this, send links my way. :)I really want to see Persepolis and Juno.
