Did you win anything?
Congrats if you did or didn't.
The castle green looks so victorian...

I love the Castle Green! Did they have any of the apartments open for showing?

If you get a chance, they have full tours for Mothers' Day and Christmas, at least they use to. It would be such a great place for a tea party!

I love it!!!

Oh, Aimee that is wonderful!!! I even recognize the story! It's the one with the princes who were changed into swans by their evil stepmother, and could only be changed back if their sister made them each a flaxen shirt while not speaking a single word until she was finished. I love that story so much, and I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who knows it! I'm sure everyone will love it too!

The castle looks like my kind of place~.
I like your outfit too - all the white is very pretty and fresh. :)

I didn't get chance yet to say how much I like your Wild Swans art. I'm in awe of your beautiful colours as usual.

That reminds me, I'm sorry I couldn't comment in good time on the entries you made about fairy tales and illustration, but there are a couple of things I'd like to share with you if I may...

There's a book you might like, called The Moon Maiden and Other Japanese Fairy Tales"
I've been meaning to get a copy for myself for a while now and thought you might be interested too, if you don't already have it. :)

Also, there's a Children's storybook illustration community on LJ that I love to visit for inspiration and eye-candy. There's so much beautiful work showcased there. (IIRC a version of The Wild Swans was posted not so long back...)

(Whilst I'm here I'd like to say that I'm sorry I wasn't around this past week or so to tell you how much I've been enjoying your recent entries, or to send love your way when you needed it. *hugs*)

Your purse is adorable! Where is it from?

and the Girls Drawing Girls thing looks awesome. If I were still in Cali, I'd definitely check it out one of the shows.
