I want to want to costume

Youta got a bath this morning. :)

so... It's going to be time to start working on costumes again... but right now I'm so busy with the house and with work and with my book that I'm not feeling like doing anything else.
so instead of my normal staring at designs I want to make into costumes and drooling, I have a feeling of dread.
I know this period will pass and I'll have fun starting on the costumes for this year. I've picked two that I really love (well three, because one is for mitch). and I'm trying to keep it down otherwise... though... the original idea with having less costumes for this year was because of book stuff

but now that my book will probably be totally finished before conseason, and I wont be "selling" at cons this year.

... so if I feel like it, I may add in one other dream costume to my list. I really want this year to be the year of doing costumes I've been meaning to do for a while, or ones that are really special to me. It's really easy to go "OOOO SHINY!", but I keep leaving off costumes that I've meant to do for years! and I am slowly getting back in shape, so I can't use the excuse of "I'm too fat to cosplay that". or at least I won't be able to come summer.

Mitch and I are rewatching Gankutsuou, and I dont really have time for any more anime, but I started D/L Code Geass. (I'm also totally behind in Nana and Bleach,... the only other series I'm watching right now... and I also want to watch Le Chevalier D'Eon once it comes out licensed....) but... !

Le Chevalier D'Eon is out now, I saw it in Best Buy yesterday, which surprised me cause that was one hell of a fast turn around!

Also when I try to bathe my cat he tears the SHIT out of me, bites, claws, you name it...I avoid doing it too much.

Heh. Daniel and I were just talking about how wet cats always manage to look pitiful, humiliated, and furious. There's just something about that bedraggled look!

hey, I liked the way paine looked cause she's badass, but,... I just feel like I dont have enough of an attachmentn to her. there's other costumes that are a lot more important to me, so I finally sold the sword. I do have the other peices still (they're hard to sell I guess FFX2 isn't as popular as it used to be)

I've just learned over the recent years that I can't kill myself making costumes anymore. There's too much sleep to be missing XD Plus, it's just expensive in time and materials that I'd rather use elsewhere so I'm just going to cut down on what I do to stuff I really want to make and just not as often even if it's not as much as I wish I could do.

I had no idea he had such a long tail! Aww poor kitty ^^

The boyfriend and I are in the process of making one of our spare rooms a computer/sewing room and I will be able to get back to sewing. How I miss it. Right now all my stuff is either in the dining room or basement.
