NYAF, Pacific Media Expo and Newtype USA

So this months (just out) issue of Newtype USA has a big fullpage add for New York Anime Festival. I must admit I had to be smiling when I saw it! (They list me as one of their four guests of honor in the ad!) I feel very honored! :)
I'll be doing multiple panels there, book signings as well as judging to the Cosplay Masquerade.

I'll be attending Pacific Media Expo this month, too. I'll be doing a panel on Japan Ai book. :) (and I'll be going to the Angelic Pretty lunch!)

HAUTE DOLL
The most recent issue of Haute Doll (Dec 07 on newstands now) has two articles by me, one is a feature about Japan Ai (with images you guys haven't seen yet... comics about VOLKS.) and then the other is an interview by me with Uyuchagongbang (Milktea) from CustomHouse.

the next few months I'll be doing a lot of signings and conventions locally, and early next year, we'll see what comes!

i didn't really plan on going to it until a couple days ago, but i'm not sure about going to the ap thing, i just worry about not knowing anyone there.

(that and i don't have much money, or anything i'm tres proud of to wear)

people are friendly, you sit at a table with people you don't know, so you just talk to them during the lunch. :) it is pricey though! :)

HAVE FUN IN NY! I warn you ahead of time : If you end up at Penn Station at rush hour be prepared to get PUSHED! I ended up there the second last time I visited and I was floored at how many people there were... I even got hassled for change (lol). I always ended up at Penn at like midnight and it was still lots of people but I'd say like .05% :P.

Madison Square Gardens is steps away from Penn and the Empire State Building is like a two block walk as well. There's a huge bookstore not far from there. I haven't gotten to see the ESB or the Chrysler like I wanted to but I hope you get a chance to!
