Wow. Fugetsu-Do had autumn mochi today. How perfect that on the first day that it starts to cool off a little, and there are beautiful clouds in the sky, that I took a break to get mochi and find adorable mushroom-shaped mochi with little maple-leaf accents. We do not have fall in So-Cal, but I can pretend. It was SO GORGEOUS today. It is impossible not to be in a good mood. I bought some little presents for friends, which makes me really happy, too. I will hoard some of them until the opportune moment. :)

... also, I sent actual reservation emails for the hotels I want to stay at in Japan. This was done with a lot of squealing and spinning around in my chair. I really hope I can get the fancy ryokan I picked out for the first two nights. I deliberated and researched like an insane person for like a month. It's in Gion on the shirakawa canal. XD
