BOOYA BEST IN SHOW COMIC CON!

aimeekittymy girls, HCC and I won BEST IN SHOW at Comic-Con this weekend with our Five Star Stories costumes! ALJAKLJSLKJALJKA!

These costumes have been a long time coming, in particular for AJ who has wanted to do a FSS group forever. I was very happy to have been able to do these beautiful designs with my fuzzy girlfriends. The competition was really awesome at Comic-Con, like it usually is there... so I feel really honored and shocked that we won, frankly. I think my favorite was the totally badass Harry Potter Grease skit. Wow, their dancing was awesome and they were so in synch. I squealed. But there were a ton of really fabulous costumes and skits this year. It was a lot of fun.
Even though I'm totally tired, I feel all inspired... almost enough to start sewing my next costume tonight. (maybe not. :)... )
Huge thanks to the "TRANSPORT TEAM" in their pretty little orange vests for taking care of us even when we were cranky cranky cripples and for making our skit way mo bettah.
I'm so beat though. with Crisso and Derek, I ran a booth when I wasn't preparing for or in the masquerade, so it was a looooong weekend.
Thanks to those of you who came by to see me at my book or picked up one of my sketchbooks! Also Japan Ai book stuff went really well!
Thank you for your support, I will keep trying harder. :)
I still have sketchbooks and tshirts to sell, I'll leave that for another post. :)
