I know some of you have published an ashcan comic for conventions or sale, etc...

if I wanted to do an approx. 24 page black and white sketchbook,

does anyone have suggestions on a place I could have that printed on the cheap and done before comic-con??

how about stickers, etc?

thanks in advance!

The Hamthology guys went through Between Wishes in Pasadena. Don't know what the cost was and there is no website, just a po box 60652, zip 91116. I bet if you ask over at www.ponju.net they would have more info. Sylvia Leung was one of the editors, really nice, I'm sure she would help. I know they got their's done pretty fast.

ash cans are usually 8.5x11 folded in half & saddle-stitched, right? What is your quantity?

What kind of stickers?

http://www.psprint.com/printing_products/index.asp --> I like them & have used them, but their minimum quantities may not be small enough. They also do stickers ^__^

yes, that's the typical format!, so it would be around 8 sheets of paper folded in half and saddle stitched, to make about 24 pages (24 includes front and back).

I'm not sure on the quantity... I was thinking maybe 500 or 1,000?

just some kind of stickers I can give away with bunnies on them or something stupid like that. lol.

If they are just B&W sketches with no tone, Kinko's works just fine. They'll even assemble them, fold them, and saddle-staple them for you, and you'll have the order in your hands in a couple of days.

If you have any halftones though, you'll have to find someone else. Only their color copiers reproduce halftones reliably, and they are way too expensive per page to be cost-effective.
