ok... I know some of you are big star wars fans. I am too... but I've never made a star wars costume.
I'm curious, are there any female jedi that have geisha or japanese-influence in their costumes? I thought it might be fun to do kinda what they did for shak-ti and amidala and use my oshiroi makeup for it.
I was kinda thinking about just designing my own jedi outfit, but I'm curious if there are any canon characters I might like. They don't have to be in the movies, they could just be extended universe, or whatever.

This site is a great start for Jedi guidelines. Hopefully it'll give you some ideas. :D

Date: 2007-05-08 01:31 am (UTC)I guess most jedi's have to be earth-tones right? so no red outfits or anything? it seems like they are all tan. I also wonder how much embellishment I can get away with before it's starts being "you are too fancy to be a jedi". Even though Luminara and Shak Ti actually have alot of fancy stuff... (but it's all leather tooling and earthtone fancy)
is there a picture of the sith you mean?

Date: 2007-05-08 01:35 am (UTC)but most of the jedi outfits are pretty much tan, white or dark brown...

Date: 2007-05-09 03:05 am (UTC)The Episode II Jedi had more variation and more color - like Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee. This page might be a good reference too!
