I guess I can start posting images (in progress) from my upcoming Japan Travel Journal? I plan to self-publish this book and sell it at Anime Expo and Comic-Con this year (also through my website.) I'm actually really enjoying doing this book.

boy, I have no idea what to name my book though? GIANTESS in JAPAN? :P (seriously though, suggestions welcome, I'll credit you if I use your title, obviously) (in all seriousness, something about my height, something about Japan and something about it being a travelogue would probably be a good title, I just can't think of a snappy way to say it...)
I have to decide on that and the cover soon, so I can get into Diamond Previews...

Here's one image from it:

^_^ please don't repost them though, thanks!

So, on to other things... I love Scrubs (the only show besides South Park that I even attempt to catch), I love that my husband moved all the stuff out of the garage for me before I even came home last night
... and I love celphone straps.
This is my current favorite store!

or try this link: http://www.nexternal.com/phonestrap/Category3082

Right now they have Hello Kitty Geisha, Nana, Lilo and Stitch, Hard Gay and Hello Kitty as female roles in Kabuki, including fuji musume, etc...!
totally adorable. :) they ship internationally. they have so much cute stuff.

That comic was great! I definitely can't wait to see more and the book.

I'd just discovered Strapya a little while ago and I love that place! So much cuteness! Though sadly my cell doesn't actually have a place for straps so I just use them as decorations lol.

Strapya is evil. I'd buy more if my cat didn't think they were great toys.

If it weren't already taken by a band, I'd suggest the name "Big In Japan". ;)

LOL! I like... maybe: Big & Pink in Japan? =)
(Aimee had this really pink ski jacket the first year we went to Japan.) No one wears colored jackets in Japan apparently. We stuck out like... well more than even normal. LOL

Heh. When I was trying to meet up with dolly friends in Japan, I stood out like a sore thumb because I wore a brand-new white jean jacket. Meanwhile, they told me I'd recognize them by their Louis Vuitton bag. >_<

Needless to say, they found me before I managed to find them.

Oh, I so look forward to your book. :D
Cell pohone straps win (those are so cute!). I love making them (mostly in hopes they'll sell on Etsy..), and I wish my call had a place for them. :( Luckily my DS does..but still...if i could have them in more places..oh, by golly (oh by golly I'd never sell them and keep them all for myself. XD).

Hi Aimee,

AWESOME 8D! I can't wait to buy a copy! How about Aimee-zilla Goes to Japan X)? If I think of any more title ideas, I'll be sure to post them! I love thinking up titles even though I can never title my own stuff --;!

Strapya told me to use their 'newer' website if you want to shop from them because the shipping rates are 'slightly' better on their newer site. I think the navigation is easier too.

http://www.strapya-world.com

I LOVE their website and stuff too 8D! I have tons of stuff from them all waiting to be rotated on my cellphone X)!

Aimee's Travels: Travels into Several Not-So-Remote Locations of Japan

With the post colon part being the subtitle. Though, I don't know how many people would pick up on the Gulliver's Travels: Travels Into Several Remote Locations of the World reference, even if you did a parody of a Gulliver/Lilliputian classic image on the cover. (What are you doing for a cover? Tall Aimee surrounded by short people on the subway? Kaiju Aimee walking on the globe/map onto Japan?)

It's really cute by the way. :)

I thought about "Looking Down on Japan" but that sounds kinda negative.

"High Above Japan", or "Towering Over Japan"?

Hi Aimee,

I just thought of a couple of other possible titles for your consideration ^^;! You can shorten Aimee-zilla Goes to Japan to Aim-zilla Goes to Japan.

Also, how about Ai Ai Japan? The first Ai would be short for your name, Aimee, while the second Ai would stand for the Chinese character, used in Japanese too, meaning love. The title would then translate as Aimee Loves Japan.
