Sakuran and mermaids

aimeekittySo, the original manga, Sakuran, is by the same lady (Anno, Moyoko) who did Sugar Sugar Rune. I enjoyed both... Sakuran is about a yujo (basically an oiran/tayu type thing.). Sugar Sugar Rune (a infinitely lighter tale) is about little girl witches with the names of sugar and candy. :)
and now they are making it into a movie (with Anna Tsuchiya in the lead!) I'm SO THERE. look how colorful it looks! looks like fun, I hope it turns out well.
