Mitch has never seen Macross Plus! So we are watching it now, and I somehow feel very geekily proud to be able to introduce it to him!
Also I love/hate him because he made cake. (must avoid!!)

I'm having lunch with him today in Little Tokyo. I need to pick up a 2007 dayplanner too, because 07 is already looking crowded!! I don't want to overbook!

I'm almost not sick! YEAY!!! Must do more organizing!!!

I've been wanting to try the "dress over pants" look for a while. I think Cheryll is making me braver... (I'm so not stylish) so I got this black one this weekend. (click) I couldn't find a white shirt this morning though. I think it would look cuter with a plain white cap-sleeve shirt, don't you think? maybe with a red heart necklace? :)

Also, remember my celphone got stolen a while back? Insurance replaced it, and now I have new stickers on it! I'm glad to have it back. I'd waited so long to get a new phone (my old one couldn't even txt msg!) that I was really upset when it got stolen.
I can't decide which celphone charm to put on it though. :D


I'm also proud of my poor ipod. It's still ticking even though it's old (2002 vs and very brick-like!) and I accidentally drop it all the time!

Dresses over jeans = LOVE. I normally have either a skirt or dress with my jeans =p I dunno what it is about it... maybe it hides my hips XD

there's something great about it! it's like a dress, but not so SCARY! I can feel femmy without feeling like everyone is staring at "OMG AIMEE IS IN A DRESS" :D

Hehe, looks like you had taken a Bedazzler to your phone. At least you are better off than those poor Japanese. Even stern-looking businessmen have about five pounds of charms hanging off thiers.

As for Macross Plus, I am disappointed in him having never seen it. So I take away one point from him and give it to you for sitting him down and exposing him to some fine culture.

I love the dress over jeans look, however may I suggest something? It's what most girls here in Europe are doing with that look right now. Usually they put something -over- the dress top not under. Like a half cardigan, a fancy scarf or matching jacket. (something that is open, and still shows some of the dress basically)
I've been trying to google a good example picture but I'm having a hard time. XD

Also for black dresses like that fancy jewlery is really great with it, be it a bright necklace, or a large-ish bracelet.

Woohoo! Go Aimee! That's a really good dress to layer with too. Like other people said, you could layer both under and over it. Also, it's a good excuse to wear ridiculously patterned tops if you wear them underneath something solid black like that. (I just bought this multi-striped 80s-ish turtleneck for the sole purpose of wearing underneath all my black/grey cardigans. LOL)

Layering is fun! Woohoo!

Awww, that's really cute! I've done the dress-over-leggings a bit, but I can't do dress-over-jeans (it just doesn't work with my shape, I need to wear stuff that emphasizes my middle, since I'm very very hourglass and loose clothes make me look pregnant) . . . I think it's an awesomely cute look, though, and you've got the height and presence to carry it off!!

I was trying to work a fitted-top-underneath-sleeveless-dress thing today, but it wasn't working, so I finally gave up, kept the top on, and went with my old faithful Gallery Serpentine floor-length velvet skirt . . . hey, my manicurist thought I looked awesome, LOL!! I think I'll try the dress-and-top thing again another time, when I'm not going out and therefore can change if I feel dorky ;)

You can do what I do with my cellphone charms ;)! I rotate them every once in awhile since I have too many charms for my one poor phone to handle! I'm also giving some to my PDA too XD!
